Bianca Calizaire, MS, MHC-LP
"Bianca Calizaire demonstrates exceptional empathy and expertise as a mental health counselor, fostering a safe and supportive environment for her clients' growth and healing.."
As a first-generation immigrant daughter, I witnessed the profound impact of gender roles on my life. It influenced how I approached relationships and made me acutely aware of the glass ceiling faced by women, particularly those of Black or Brown heritage. This realization spurred me to challenge stereotypes, break barriers, and address intergenerational trauma. My purpose is to empower individuals from diverse backgrounds to break free from unhealthy thought patterns by promoting choice, humility, and self-acceptance. These principles define my unique approach to making a difference.
I offer confidential therapy using a person-centered approach, meeting you where you are emotionally and mentally. Together, we address issues like anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges, providing tools for positive change. My goal is to create a safe space for growth and healing.
Apart from my work, I love dancing, exploring museums, watching documentaries, and traveling. I’ve been fortunate to visit the Caribbean and Europe, and I’m passionate about creating safe spaces for people to connect through art, culture, and food. Building a community is what truly inspires me.
